The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Cash advance items consist of money advanced by the funeral home to pay outside expenses on behalf of the family

They must be paid in full by the day of the funeral service

South Carolina State Sales Tax

 

Computed at 8% of the total cost of merchandise selected

South Carolina Death Certificates

 

The Department of Vital Records charges $12.00 for the first certified copy and $3.00 for each additional copy received at the same time.

Georgia Death Certificates

 

The Georgia Department of Vital Records charges $25.00 for the first certified copy and $5.00 for each additional copy received at the same time.

Clergy Honorarium

 

The funeral home will only advance cash as directed to pay for your minister.

Organist/Pianist/Soloist Fee

 

This fee is charged only if the funeral home arranges an organist/pianist. The funeral home will only advance cash as directed by the family.

Airport Transportation Fee

$270.00 - $450.00

This fee is required if transportation of the deceased to an airport is necessary. Charges for transportation to Charlotte, NC, or Atlanta, GA airport

Limousine

 

$250.00 plus $75 an hour after three hours

Police

 

Deputies who escort funerals processions are usually off duty and this fee is paid directly to compensate them for their time.

Paid Obituary Notices

 

Obituaries are used to publish funeral information in the newspaper of your choice. These charges are for information that newspapers do not print free of charge. Prices will be quoted after the obituary is written and proofed by the family.

Grave Opening and Closing Fee

 

This fee is for the opening and closing of the grave in a non-perpetual cemetery.
